Finally got back to Girls Are Pretty, and although the jokey shock value has worn off, the combination of heartwarming and chilling elements are fully intact. To see what I mean, start at the bottom of the page and start catching up: if you don't feel a bit odd by the time you read "Happy As A Schoolgirl Day!", there's something wrong with you. Brilliant and disturbing.
