Holy shit dept.

"The Supreme Court on Thursday ruled that local governments may seize people's homes and businesses -- even against their will -- for private economic development."

What the fuck? I can't believe I'm agreeing with Rehnquist, Scalia and Thomas, but this is insane. And I don't mean just that one-line blurb - the details in the full story are plenty disturbing too.
