There is no way this is not going to be awesome.

Andrew W.K. is putting out a solo piano album. About CARS. It's improvised. I have have have to hear this.

Also so far the birthday stuff has been great (and we've got at least a few more days of festivities to go, on the weekend). Thanks to everyone involved especially (of course) family, especially (of course) my brother and co-birthday haver.

You missed what turned into quite the shindig last night. Orbax and Andy, Casey and Nicole, Stu and Allaina and some people from work stopped by. Oh and Jay on his night off. And if Orbax ever offers you a clear shot of something on a weeknight - just remember:

"And I looked and behold: a pale (shot). And his name, that (bought it), was Death. And Hell followed with him."

Happy birthday!

Thanks Jenny!

So Ben, what was the shot?

Happy Birthday! May there be swag

Thanks! Thus far (I haven't seen all of my family) there has been just the right amount of swag. Good food, too.

So AWK is also touring with a string quartet. He's going to be in Toronto - Sun Oct 4 Toronto, ON Trinity St. Paul's Church.

Metal Edge Magazine witnessed the show and commented "It was strange as hell and it pretty much ruled."

I've just asked my editor if I can cover it, but in any case you and Orbax and I ought to go, don't you think?
