Quiet and aggressive

A few things of mine have gone up in the past few days on PopMatters: a really good interview with Liz Hysen of Picastro (whose new-ish album Become Secret I continue to insist you really should hear), and a piece on "Shelter From the Storm" for our coverage of Bob Dylan's Blood on the Tracks.

Nice job, Ian. I like the review a lot, too.

BTW, you were right about Sam Amidon. (Did you interview him, too?)

Thanks! I did. He's a slippery guy, though. It should go up soon - actually, I just checked, it's up today.

Nice, I actually saw that yesterday and read it. He does seem a little cagy, but I like the part about the blues guys having killed people.

I read your Picastro review the other day through Metacritic (it was the first link) and it wasn't until I was done that I realized it was you who'd written it! ;-)

Yeah, I really like his answers, I just wish there were more of 'em.

Hans, my tentacles reach everywhere...
